The house is divided into two apartments, but it can be rented to family groups, being composed of two kitchens, three bathrooms, 5 double bedrooms, a lounge and two dining rooms. In this picture you can see the main entrance in the kitchen/ dining room.
Outside, on the lower floor, a spectacular terrace in old bricks overlooks the valley: it is a solarium, a relaxing place in which you can enjoy wonderful moments of peace.
The house is fully restored old Tuscan style, with terracotta floors and ceilings with old wooden beams.
The decor is modern, and it has the imprint of the German owner, interior designer, who choose linear and ultra comfortable furniture.

To let you reach easily the house she will welcome you at Esselunga, 3 km. before Ponte a Moriano. Write on the navigator “Ponte a Moriano”. 3 Km. before arriving in Ponte a Moriano you’ll find on your right the supermarket “Esselunga”. It’s near a round about. Get into the park and you meet Margherita in front of the main entrance.

Lucca, 9 km. This medieval splendid jewel is a unique experience: walk along the narrow streets and hire a bicycle to go round the medieval circle walls. You can find two rent-a-bike places in piazza Santa Maria, behind Borgo Giannotti. Along the walls stop for a coffee at San Colombano’s rampart, it’s been recently renewed.
Dining out: you can taste typical Tuscan food at: “La buca di Sant’Antonio” (quite expensive, about 40-50 euros each), gli “Orti di via Elisa” (about 20-30 euros each), “Giulio” in Pelleria (about 15-25) and “Leo”, piazza della Misericordia (about 10-20). The difference costs are due to the setting and quality of food.
Typical shops and delicacies: “Veneta” ice-cream shop, down the “Caffè delle Mura” rampart, “Pinelli” patisserie, famous for strudels; you can buy “buccellato” (aniseed and raisins cake) at Taddeucci, in Piazza San Michele. You must also try focaccia (flat bred) at “Giusti” bakers in Chiasso Barletti and pizza at “Felice” in via Fillungo.
Outside Lucca there are superb historical mansions (ville lucchesi): “Villa Reale” in Marlia whose park is a fine example of the Italian neoclassical garden, villa “Mansi” in Segromigno and villa “Torrigiani” in Camigliano.
30 km. A daily trip: enjoy a day out at the seaside in Viareggio or Forte dei Marmi in a lido where you can hire deck chairs and umbrella and walk down the beautiful promenade of Forte dei Marmi, one the most famous seaside resort where celebrities find peace and relaxation as it is fashionable and at the same time secretive. Try focaccine mignon at “Valè” baker, in the main square, they’re really tasty.
30 km.Take your children to Collodi, the birthplace of a famous writer for children, whose book, “Pinocchio” is translated in many languages. The park dedicated to him shows the story’s main character and you can often see puppet performances. The village which also has a baroque mansion whose garden is accessible.
10-20 km. Garfagnana. This mountainous area of the province of Lucca offers a lot of naturalistic attractions. For those who like climbing and hiking the Apuan Alps are an excellent opportunity. The highest peak is about 2000 meters. Besides, villages like Barga and Castelnuovo Garfagnana are worth a stop. Children and adults can enjoy the experience of the “Grotta del Vento”, a natural cave in Fornovolasco close to Gallicano.
